The GoGreen Loan is supported by California State funding and requires an individual use State of California approved contractors for installation. For projects not requiring a contractor, certain documentation must be provided through the GoGreen portal. KeyPoint Loan Representatives will walk you through the process if you meet the lending qualifications and will offer alternative financing solutions if necessary.
KeyPoint’s GoGreen Loans are designed to make sustainability more affordable. Unlike personal or home improvement loans, GoGreen Loans:

  • Support eco-friendly initiatives (e.g., solar panels, energy-efficient appliances, electric vehicles and more!).
  • Offer special interest rates and terms to encourage sustainable choices.
  • May qualify you for additional rebates or tax incentives.
Eligibility is generally based on creditworthiness and project type. Your planned project must meet the green lending criteria, such as improving energy efficiency or reducing environmental impact.
Choosing a GoGreen Loan allows you to:

  • Reduce energy costs over time
  • Increase property value
  • Lower your carbon footprint
  • Support the transition to a more sustainable future.
When you make qualified energy-efficient home upgrades—like installing solar panels, heat pumps or windows—you may be eligible for tax credits, refunds and other incentives (like those from your electric company). However, there are factors that can impact your eligibility and funding.

To learn more, visit Database of State Incentives for Renewable Energy (DSIRE) website. You can use their filter tool to see if your improvements qualify for tax credits or other incentives. Please consult your tax advisor for current federal tax credit rules.
