Life happens! KeyPoint Credit Union understands that unexpected overdrafts occur from time to time – Overdraft Coverage can help. Any KeyPoint checking account offers overdraft coverage options that can be combined to provide maximum convenience and flexibility, and serve as a safety net. The following overdraft options are available:

Savings or Money Market Overdraft Coverage

Your KeyPoint savings accounts can be linked to your checking account. If your checking account does not have enough funds, we’ll automatically transfer funds up to your available savings balance.

Line of Credit Overdraft Coverage

You can link your KeyPoint line of credit to your checking account, so whenever your checking account does not have enough funds to pay an item, we’ll automatically advance up to your available credit line loan limit.

Courtesy Pay Privilege

In addition to the overdraft protection options, KeyPoint provides added coverage for your checking account and will automatically pay items on your behalf*. Courtesy Pay Privilege protects you from an accidental account overdraft, and the costs and embarrassment that go along with it. Please review the Courtesy Pay service guidelines for full details.
*KeyPoint Credit Union will determine at our sole discretion whether to pay overdrafts caused by check, ATM or Debit Card withdrawal, point-of-sale and ACH transactions. There is a fee of $29 for each item that KeyPoint chooses to pay. You must pay all overdrawn amounts and fees immediately, but no later than 45 days. Not all accounts qualify for Courtesy Pay. Refer to the agreement for complete information.
