KeyPoint Credit Union Appoints David Luu as President and Chief Executive Officer

SAN JOSE, CA (October 14, 2025)—KeyPoint Credit Union is proud to announce the appointment of David Luu as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective January 2, 2026. With more than two decades of leadership experience in the credit union industry, David brings a proven record of operational excellence, Member-focused innovation and strategic growth. 

David has been a member of KeyPoint’s executive team for over nine years, serving as Chief Lending Officer and later as Chief Operating Officer. In these roles, he led transformative initiatives across lending, retail operations and Member experience—expanding products and services while driving measurable improvements in service quality.

Before joining KeyPoint, David held leadership positions at several respected institutions, including CommonWealth Central Credit Union, Patelco Credit Union and Technology Credit Union, where he earned a strong reputation for integrity, collaboration and results-driven strategy.
