KeyPoint Credit Union Inaugurates Milpitas Branch

KeyPoint Celebrates by Supporting the Milpitas Food Pantry

MILPITAS, CA (June 10, 2019) – Mayor Richard Tran of Milpitas, CA cut the ribbon to officially inaugurate the re-designed Milpitas Branch of KeyPoint Credit Union. The branch features a sleek new look with service pods for routine transactions and private rooms for more personalized discussions.

Andy Ramos, Chief Retail Office of KeyPoint Credit Union said “We’ve been in Milpitas for over ten years and we’re delighted to serve many residents of Milpitas and surrounding communities. Our new modern branch will enable us to serve of our Members more personally and efficiently. And a Member recently wrote how thoroughly impressed they were by the level of service and attention to detail offered by KeyPoint.”

The event supported the Milpitas Food Pantry, which provides Food and Food Assistance to residents of Milpitas and Alviso. KeyPoint Members and staff contributed non-perishable goods to the Pantry. Members of the community can donate to the Pantry by bringing in non-perishable goods to the branch through June 20 (Collection bins are located in the branch).

KeyPoint also presented a check for $1,000 to the Pantry. Upon accepting the donation, Karen Kolander, Executive Director of the Milpitas Food Pantry of the Milpitas Food Pantry said “We appreciate KeyPoint Credit Union’s continuing support. The majority of our clients are families with children, followed by seniors, and also the homeless in our area. KeyPoint’s helps us fulfill our mission of providing food and clothing assistance to those in need.”
