    Join Our Walk Team to End Alzheimer's

    I want to let you know about a cause I am particularly passionate about. Alzheimer’s disease impacts millions of people worldwide.

    The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research. The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide. 

    This year’s walk is on October 12, 2019 at the Arena Green located at North Autumn St in San Jose. Participants of all ages and abilities are encouraged to join our KeyPoint Walk Team, which is made up of Employees and Members of KeyPoint Credit Union. To join our team, visit and click on Join Our Team. There is no cost or required contribution to participate in the event.

    Back to School Time

    In today’s world, it takes more than good grades in school for kids to succeed in life. Just as important as science, reading and math is learning about money—how it works and how to manage it to reach our goals in life.

    Financial education is a priority for us at KeyPoint, so we offer two programs for Members to help educate their children on the basics of managing money.

    Balance Track

    This interactive personal finance education program for students age 16+ provides the groundwork for financial success and sound money management skills in a series of 21 online modules, including Financial Basics and Planning for Success.

    Youth Banking

    The KeyPoint Youth Banking program is designed to help students under age 18 learn about banking and managing their money:

    • Youth FREE Checking Account with a minimum opening balance of just $25, and no monthly service fee or monthly minimum balance required

    As the children in your life head back to school, KeyPoint is here to help you provide the financial education they need to understand how money works and how to manage it wisely. It’s one of the most valuable lessons you can help them learn as they move forward in life.

    It's Now Easier and Faster to Apply for a Home Loan

    We have recently added an extension to our new Digital Application system, making it possible for our Members to apply for Home Loan Purchases and Refinances. The updated version makes it easier to apply and provides quicker processing time. You can:

    • Use the device of your choice to apply (mobile, tablet, or desktop) and have the same great experience
    • Easily guides you through the application process
    • Save and resume an application
    • Provides a personalized document list tailored to your application
    • Load application documents with ease
    • Effortlessly retrieve documents like pay statements, tax returns and bank statements directly from your providers
    • Simple process to sign documents

    New Enhancements to Our Mobile App

    Here at KeyPoint, we are dedicated to help our Members achieve their financial goals by constantly improving our products, services, and technology. We have released a new update on our mobile banking app that features several enhancements that will make banking more convenient for our Members.

    Here are a few new enhancements to our Mobile App:

    Credit Card Dashboard: You will now have access to a full suite of credit card services just by clicking the new dashboard icon. Some new features included in this page are:

    • View Credit Card eStatements
    • Make payments from External accounts
    • Balance Transfers
    • Fraud Alerts
    • Transaction Disputes
    • Add Authorize User
    • Report Card Lost/Stolen

    Edit Account Name: Members can now rename their account to something more meaningful to them. From the Account Details screen, a “Rename” icon by the account name has been added that will allow them to set up a nickname that will appear in Mobile and Desktop.

    Open a New Account: A link has been added to the accounts screen to Open a New Account that will take you to the Digital Applications, currently accessible through the More screen. This will make it easier for you to submit a new account or loan application right from the main accounts page.

    These enhancements are just a few of the improvements KeyPoint is working on to make mobile banking more convenient for our members. We are fully committed to providing the best products, services, and technology available today.

    Everything we do at KeyPoint is designed to help our Members achieve their financial goals with the best products, services and technology available today. And we’re always looking for more ways to make them even better.

    One of the ways we do that is by encouraging Members to give us feedback and let us know where they see opportunities to improve and enhance our offerings. Here are three new enhancements to our Mobile App that we made recently in response to feedback we received:

    Make Transfers Faster: We’ve redesigned the functionality for making transfers in and out of your accounts. When you go to Transfer, choose either “Transfer In” or “Transfer Out.” The fields will be automatically populated based on your selection, enabling you to make your transfer in seconds.

    Access eStatements Easier: We’ve made the Mobile App more intuitive and user friendly for Members who have multiple eStatements. Now, all your accounts enrolled in eStatements will appear in a single list. Simply choose the account you want, and see all your eStatements in one location.

    Order New Checks in Minutes: Now, you can order checks quickly and easily through a single-sign on (SSO) that goes directly to our check printing partner. Simply go to the Account Details page, click on the Order Checks icon, and place your order.

    These enhancements are just a few of the ways we’re working to make it easier and more convenient to manage your finances. It’s all part of our commitment to providing KeyPoint Members with the best products, services and technology available today. We’re listening!
